Tay's Burger Shack

I went for the homerun cheeseburger and fries as a late night treat. The stack of four patties with cheese was over the top in the best way. Fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned to balance out that burger goodness. The place had that nostalgic diner energy that just works. Definitely worth the try for burger fans.

This burger joint did not disappoint! Grass fed cheeseburgers! The chili dog was delicious! Unfortunately I didn’t care for the fries. Service was great we will definitely be back!

I ordered doordash so I really cannot attest to the atmosphere. I can say service was quick and my order was delivered in no time at all! This was my the first time trying Tay's and overall it was okay. I really enjoyed my bacon cheeseburger. The bun was soft and fluffy, the meat melted in my mouth. I would go back just for the burger. I was not a fan of the fries. I asked for extra crispy with a side of sriracha mayo. No mayo and the fries were very lackluster. My coworkers chili cheese fries were good. Chili had great flavor. But like I said, I'd go back for one of those burgers in a heartbeat!

Better than Steak n Shake! The burgers are well priced, grass fed & FINISHED beef, and fries are fried in tallow for a rich flavor! Only request I have is that they carry at least one cheese without seed oils, such as Swiss. Currently only offer American Cheese which is typically only 50% actual cheese. Overall, very please with this smash burger restaurant!!

This place is a must try if you are craving a burger. Delicious burgers with many toppings you can add, seasoned fries, and friendly service!!!

OMG. We just had one of the best burgers EVER. Tay’s Burger Shack in North Kansas City — how have we lived here 12 years and never tried this place?!? Grass-fed beef smash burgers. Perfectly seasoned hand-cut fries. And don’t even get me started on the Sriracha ketchup. It’s a tiny spot with awesome retro vibes, but the flavor? HUGE. Burgers come out fast, even during a packed lunch rush. Absolutely worth it. We’re already planning our next trip back. Pro tip: Go hungry. And get the fries. Always get the fries. ????????

The burgers are amazing and worth the little drive. I loved the fries cooked in tallow but they could have been more crisp - they were a bit limp. The burger was so juicy and perfectly cooked with just a little pink left. I really enjoyed the spicy ketchup too. The place was clean, the booths comfy, the decor was good and so was the music. Keep up up!!

Awruff! Just had the best burger in KC at Tay's! Their double cheeseburger (made with grass-fed beef) was PAWSome, and the fries were absolutely tail-wagging good! As a Dog, I know a thing or two about good taste, and Tay's delivers. 10/10 Bones from this furry fan!
